NEC Unified Solutions and New Voice partner in providing messaging solutions fully integrated with any company’s business process

Alert and alarm messaging integrated with mobile phone for faster response and enhanced safety

Hilversum, 14 October 2010 – NEC Unified Solutions and New Voice today announced they have entered into a partnership that will enable customers to benefit by the communications and messaging solutions of both companies fully integrated with an organisation’s business processes.

The solutions comprise New Voice’s MobiCall messaging, alarm management and mobilization server integrated with NEC’s powerful mobility solutions such as IP DECT and Smart Mobile Client for mobile handsets. Together they offer tremendous added value and functionality to the customer’s strategic business process or business critical communications systems.

MobiCall is designed to connect with a wide variety of external applications such as paging systems, nurse call systems, medical alarms, fire alarm and public community emergency systems, SPS, building management and workflow systems. With the intelligent management interface of MobiCall, prioritization per interface or alarm can be configured.

In the right format, to the right person, at the right time
With the further integration of enterprise communication applications into business processes, the number of business critical applications is increasingly significant. In many industry sectors, the number of IT systems is increasing year over year. Typically, every additional application delivers its own set of information, reports, notifications and alarms.

Richer choice of specialised solutions

Staff can be notified by text messaging or voice messaging, while events can also lead to automatically sending an e-mail or sms, switch on a siren, activate a contact and many more. In combination with NEC IP DECT it is even possible to send urgent or emergency messages with different notification tones. When there is no response from the notified staff, escalation schemes to other staff members can be put in place.

The solutions of NEC and New Voice are available across EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) through the companies’ networks of sales organisations and business partners.
