NEC was the first company to introduce a unique DECT Dual Band portfolio enabling ships to use IP-DECT at different international ports where DECT frequency bands may differ. Switching to the correct frequency band is done automatically through GPS. This technology has been installed on numerous (new and existing) ships and is available for traditional as well as for VoIP networks.
