NEC to provide Ministry of Communications & Works of Cyprus with advanced telecom solutions

Technological superiority and team work were decisive factors in selection process

Hilversum, Athens, 9 February 2011 – The Ministry of Communications & Works of Cyprus has commissioned NEC Unified Solutions to supply and install new telecommunication platforms to various governmental institutes and departments over the coming two years.

NEC will provide the different government bodies as per their need with communication solutions based on the UNIVERGE SV8100 and XN120 servers. Installation of several systems has already commenced, with implementations taking place at the Cyprus Fishery Department and at Local Community Hospital Units.
