Successful UC application finds its way into more and more companies

Hilversum, Amersfoort, February 8, 2010 – The implementation of a UNIVERGE SV8300 communications server with Business ConneCT application at Het Waterschapshuis in Amersfoort, The Netherlands, marks the 1000th successful implementation of NEC Philips’ Unified Communications application Business ConneCT.

The implementation of Business ConneCT at Het Waterschapshuis is a milestone building on the continued success of Business ConneCT worldwide. The application is now available in 17 language versions and used by many organizations in various countries, from Iceland to South Africa, from China to Brazil.

Het Waterschapshuis is the organization in charge of information management and operations in support of the business processes of the 26 water board districts in the Netherlands. Het Waterschapshuis aims to promote cooperation in the area of Information provisioning between the water boards and other governmental authorities active in the water sector. Het Waterschapshuis also plays a central role in enabling better and quicker service to citizens and businesses by improving the information provided electronically such as information available via the Internet.
