January 21, 2009 – Frankfurt (GE), Hilversum (NL) – One of Frankfurt’s leading 5 star hotels, Le Méridien Parkhotel Frankfurt, ideally located at the heart of Frankfurt’s bustling financial centre, has selected the Hospitality Communication Solution from NEC Philips to replace the hotel’s existing telephony system. 

The new Hospitality Communication Solution will cover all aspects of guest communications, as well as ensuring efficient staff communications. 

Taking advantage of the sophisticated integration with other mission critical systems in the hotel, i.e. the property management system & fire alarm system, Le Méridien will be able to exploit the full potential of the IP based communication platform of NEC Philips. By means of Fixed Mobile Convergence the GSM devices of the hotel staff are seamlessly integrated into the new hotel telephony system. 

After a vigorous selection process, SSM Service Gesellschaft GMBH, NEC Philips’ strategic partner in Germany for the Hospitality market, won the order for this important project.
