Hilversum, The Netherlands – NEC Philips Unified Solutions (NEC Philips) today announced sales of its MA4000 Management application have exceeded 100.000 extension licences sold in EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa).
Sales of MA4000 licences have accelerated over recent months since the introduction of Release 7.0.
Hans van Os, Product Marketing Manager at NEC Philips, comments: “Our customer base is extremely pleased with the rich functionality and ease of use this package offers. And we expect that Release 7.2 of MA4000, introduced end November, will further propel sales, particularly as it includes the free numbering functionality, allowing administrators to move extension numbers from one platform to another.”
Van Os adds that sales show interfacing with databases has become common and is no longer an exception. This he illustrates by pointing out that 20% of sales include LDAP licences as well.
Secure, easy-to-use and robust, MA4000 provides all necessary tools for centralised management of a truly comprehensive IP telephony solution and supports NEC Philips’ iS3000, SV7000, 2000 IPS and SV8300 communication servers. The application has the ability to manage all of a company's voice servers simultaneously and with hardly any involvement of an administrator on a daily basis. MA4000's friendly user interface is simple to use and requires almost no training for an administrator to begin using the management system.
The spread of implemented licences show that MA4000 is adopted across all platforms.
