Hannover, Germany – March 14, 2007 – At CeBIT (Hannover, 15-21 March) NEC Philips Unified Solutions is launching a new full IP version of its Business ConneCT suite, the all-in-one communication solution that fulfils the needs of call center agents, operators and office employees.
With this new full IP version Business ConneCT becomes available across all IP communication servers and hybrid platforms offered by NEC Philips Unified Solutions (iS3000, 2000 IPS, SV7000). Customers now have the freedom to choose either IP or TDM technology to access services such as voicemail, auto-attendant and call centre queue announcements, increasing the flexibility of implementations and keeping costs to a minimum.
Business ConneCT is a Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) application which offers small and medium sized companies all the functionality they need to facilitate high level customer service and interaction, as well as improving internal productivity, in one tightly integrated application. Functionality includes call control and (group) information, voicemail, directory services, operator and call routing functionality. An intuitive interface makes it easy to use with little or no training. Business ConneCT is a client-server based application that uses the latest .NET technology for optimum performance and flexibility. It is simple to deploy and can be accessed at any time and from any location. The product architecture is designed around one server PC, one database and one log-in, reducing complexity and cost of ownership.
At CeBIT the functionality and flexibility of Business ConneCT will be demonstrated including its flexibility to switch easily between roles:
• Employee (PC based call handling, contact management and presence management including Microsoft Outlook integration).
• Operator (easy handling of operator queues).
• Agent (extensive caller information presentation plus routing, queuing and IVR
functions of the underlying Contact Centre).
