Hannover, Germany – March 14, 2007 – At CeBIT (Hannover, 15-21 March) NEC Philips Unified Solutions is showing some of the latest enhancements and extensions to its Business Partner Program and portfolio.
In a special section focussing on SMB solutions NEC Philips Unified Solutions will be informing its channel partners on its range of IP PBX platforms, comprising SOPHO IPC 100, IPC 500 and 2000 IPS platforms, and an increasing range of applications.
At CeBIT NEC Philips is announcing a new software version of the IPC 100/500 platforms, which includes Fixed Mobile Convergence and improved Hospitality functionality.
One of the highlights at CeBIT is the launch of a dedicated SIP DECT Wireless Telephony solution. The new SIP DECT AP200S is a compact, plug and play device with direct connection to an Ethernet LAN, enabling wireless telephony over an IP network. The introduction of the AP200S SIP DECT Access Point enables small and medium sized organisations to the benefits of IP based DECT Wireless Telephony. Now being SIP-enabled, this wireless telephony solution can be offered on any SIP-enabled system, including third party platforms.
Each AP200S supports 11 simultaneous duplex calls, and up to 255 DECT Access Points can be connected to a single IPC 100 or IPC 500 system. The new SIP DECT package includes the equipment and channel partner support and training for implementation of SIP DECT right out of the box.
On show as well are a range of new DECT terminals. The C124 features an illuminated, graphic LCD, loudspeaker, 5-step volume, 10-entry call log, 40-name personal phone book, 13 selectable languages, menu-driven handset configuration, 20 hours talk time, 200 hours standby and eight hours charging time.
