Hilversum, 6 April 2010 – NEC Unified Solutions and NW Gruppen A/S today announced they have signed a pan-Nordic Distribution Agreement. This agreement, which came into effect on 1st April 2010, grants NW Gruppen A/S the rights of distribution for all SMB business telecommunications products of NEC Unified Solutions across Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Greenland, Iceland and the Faroe Islands.
In support of strengthening and expanding distribution in this extended territory NW Gruppen has created a new subsidiary, ICTx, which will take over and rebrand the NEC Infrontia Nordics operation based in Oslo. ICTx also has an operational base in Denmark. From these outlets ICTx will supply all SMB partners with the NEC SV8100 and its applications.
This new company will be headed up by Simon Kirkeby. ‘With ICTx we will offer NEC a greater level of Nordic coverage and expertise than it had before so we are immediately better positioned to work closer with our channel partners and their customers. With NEC behind us, ICTx is in an excellent position to provide channel partners with a rich portfolio of products and application led solutions which will help them to increase sales’.
