NEC UNIVERGE SV8500 Now Certified with Verizon IP Trunking Service

Business customers can now enjoy cost and management benefits of NEC’s enterprise communications servers with IP Trunking service from Verizon in U.S. and Europe

IRVING, TX – May 19 and TOKYO – May 20, 2011 – NEC Corporation (NEC; TSE: 6701), today announced that the UNIVERGE SV8500 Communications Servers are now certified with Verizon’s award-winning IP Trunking Service.

With NEC and Verizon, companies can now more easily manage their networks and control operating costs with centralized and decentralized designs using NEC IP PBX equipment and Verizon’s IP Trunking network features and enterprise reporting tools.
