The BCT DT XML Client is a state of the art XML solution which provides Unified Communications to the DT700 range of desktop phones. Directory, Presence, Voicemail, Call history logs and Call Redirection are available in a very user friendly way.
The BCT DT XML Client is part of Business ConneCT, a rich-featured all-in-one Unified Communications solution with Contact Center, Operator and Employee functionality compatible will all NEC communication Platforms.
The BCT DT XML Client provides the following functions.
Users can search the company, external and their personal directory. Contact details can be retrieved including a picture of the contact. Users can update their presence state and related call forwarding settings. The search result includes a live presence indication that shows if the contact is available or on the phone. To dial a contact you simply press a button or use the touch screen (DT750).
When you receive an incoming call the terminal displays the contact details of the caller. The contact details include name, alternative numbers and email address. On the DT750 even the picture of the caller is shown. The user has the option to redirect the call to an alternative destination before answering like to his voicemail box, mobile phone or Operator.
The user can review the list of voicemail messages, missed and answered telephone calls. To play a voicemail on the phone you only have to press one button. Every entry in the list displays the presence indication and provides push to dial.
