Ronald Rubens is Vice President Portfolio & Applications at NEC Unified Solutions, a leading provider of IT and Communications solutions to organisations in both private and public sectors throughout EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa).
In this position Ronald is responsible for the company’s complete IT and Communications portfolio aimed at providing sales teams and business partners with innovative Unified Communications and Enterprise Cloud solutions for Enterprise markets as well as Service Providers.
Ronald Rubens has over 20 years of international experience in the IT & Telecommunications industry serving both enterprise customers as well as (application) service providers/telecom operators. He has a strong background in managing complex product & application portfolios and driving sales growth in areas such as software based communications, cloud computing, hosted applications, contact centers, CRM and Unified Communications.
Prior to joining NEC in February 2011, Ronald Rubens held several international senior management positions within Lucent, Avaya, Siemens and CosmoCom.
Ronald Rubens holds a BSc degree – cum laude - in Electrical Engineering from the Rotterdam Faculty of Technology in the Netherlands and an MBA degree from New York University in the United States.
