NEC provides a mutual test and verification program to support our partners to establish interconnection of their solutions and services with the UNIVERGE products. NEC provides a conformance environent with charge for testing and validating newly-developed applications.
The mutual verification program for applications is available only for partners who have signed a UNIVERGE solutions partner agreement.
In order to confirm mutual connectivity with partners' products in application level, we provide necessary interfaces including APIs, protocols, as well as actual hardware testing environments.
Conformance tests
Connection tests will be implemented jointly with our company. Drafting test items and scheduling are also worked in collaboration.
Coverage of certification
This certification covers up to API/ protocol disclosure interface.
Version upgrade (Partners need to satisfy either one of the two options.)
Conformance tests must be performed on the upgraded versions to assure compatibility.
If tests are not performed on the new versions, the previous version must be maintained for four years unless the specific version is discontinued. (This obligation applies to NEC and partners.)
In the case of failure (Partners need to satisfy either one of the two options.)
Joint testing will be implemented until a successful conformance result is achieved.
Applications must be protected to prevent operation errors and documentation must elucidate the relevant constraints.
Conformance tests are performed on consecutive days at conformance center from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Conformance center charges 900, - EUR per day including equipment and excluding travel and lodging. Invoicing starting at 450, - EUR and consecutive per half a day.

Please let us know approximately when you would like to use the conformance center. If your desired time is available, our office will send you a provisional reservation. Reservations can be cancelled as late as two weeks prior to the reservation date (same day of week).
